The Next Air Max L

I woke up yesterday at 6:55am. I had no work or school, so why would I get up that early? Oh that's right. To purchase sneakers.

I tried to purchase the Sean Wotherspoon Air Max 97/1 from the SNKRS app. There was a draw system, meaning that it was basically a raffle. You enter and pray for the best.

No shocker here, you take the loss and go on. It'll just make the next cop even better. What's coming up? That's right, the Off-White collaboration with Nike on the VaporMax. These new ones are pretty similar to the first drop, except the Nike logo is blacked out and the sole is clear. I've been wanting to try out VaporMax for a while now, and what better way than with Off-White. I can't wait to take this L.

Final Blog!

It's been very fun to have a blog that I enjoyed writing. I hope that I increased your sneaker knowledge this quarter, and hopefully, you'll be buying cooler shoes now!

I think I've gotten most of the models that I would want, so I'll be more selective in my sneaker purchases in the future. If you need a great everyday shoe, then I highly recommend anything with Boost from Adidas or even the new Nike REACT.

Air Max Day

March 26th is a big day for Nike fans. It's the day that they celebrate one of their most iconic innovations, Air technology. The air bubbles in the Nike soles appear on many models, from all Air Maxes to even Jordans.

The big release from this release date is the Sean Wotherspoon Air Max 97. I think the shoes are pretty nice but the hype is insane on them. I'll definitely try to cop but I won't be sad if I don't get them.

My Radar

For the most part, I have all the shoes I want and need. I have my favorite pair of Jordan 1s and 5s. I have a pair of Yeezys. I have a bunch of Boost and some Vans. Oh, can't forget my flyknit racers.

There's still always shoes that you want. The deals that I will be scouring the local Facebook groups for are going to be some Raptor 7s, Black Cement 3s, and White Cement 4s.

I hope I can trade some shoes away or get some money saved up. I look forward to adding these to my collection soon!

My latest L

These shoes are so ugly. They're so expensive ($300 retail price!). Yet I wanted them for one simple name: Yeezy.

The Yeezy Boost 700 released this past Saturday for the first time via Adidas. They initially released via Yeezy Supply last year but sat online for a while (meaning didn't sell out initially).

With hype increasing, everyone wanted these. I did too, so I set my alarm on for 4am to try to get them. Yeezy Supply releases shoes at a random time.

I woke up by myself at 2am and stayed up, remaining in contact with a friend who was trying to buy these as well. I took a quick nap around 5:30am and my friend called me to tell me that they went live.

I woke up and immediately tried to purchase. Sold out. My friend struck out as well but he got them on a restock later.

Another L. At least I saved around $350 when you factor in tax and shipping.

My latest pickup

I'm glad I was able to get a shoe that I really wanted. The Air Jordan 1 "Bred Toe" was slated as a general release, but was very difficult to purchase.

I got lucky and hit on Nike's SNKRS app. The shoes retailed for $160, but are going for about double that in the secondary market.

These are very beautiful, and now I just need a nice day to break them out.

The Best Walking Shoes

In the past five years, you may have noticed a trend on people's feet: the Nike Roshe Run. I personally have had a couple pairs of those, just because of how light and sturdy they were. This was until I discovered BOOST.

Adidas uses their technology BOOST in most of their shoes today. It literally feels like you're walking on clouds. The price may be high but I certainly believe it's worth it. Funny backstory, apparently Nike was offered this technology first but passed on it. Adidas took it, ran with it, and have dominated the past three or so years in sneakers.

My personal favorites are the Adidas Ultra Boost and Yeezy Boost 350. The picture attached is the Adidas Energy Boost, but you can tell what the ball looks like with the technology. It covers the entire midsole.

What to cop this upcoming weekend

Hey everyone! There's a lot of heat dropping this upcoming weekend because it's the NBA All-Star Weekend. I'm here to guide you towards what to cop, and what to drop.

There are a bunch of collaborations, from OVO x Jordan, BAPE x DAME, and UNDFTD x Kobe. All of those releases will be fairly difficult to get, so I'll point you towards a hyped release that is going to be a general release, meaning it'll be easy to get if you put in the work.

The Air Jordan 3 "Black Cement" is an iconic staple of the Jordan Brand. It'll be releasing this Saturday, February 17, for $200 retail. Unlike my Yeezy Boosts, resell should not be too crazy, since it is barely selling for above retail on StockX and GOAT at this moment.

Your best bet is to enter raffles and of course, the Nike SNKRS app. Make sure to be on it at 7am pacific time to ensure you get your pair! These will for sure sell out.

The Most I've Ever Spent on Shoes

Hyped shoes are what drive the sneaker market. Recently, the Off-White Collection by Nike has been hurting bank accounts, especially if the shoes were attained in the secondary market. Another hyped silhouette is the Adidas 350 v2 Boost, which is in collaboration with Kanye West.

No need to introduce Kanye, as I'm sure everyone's heard of him. He was one of my favorite producers/rappers growing up, so I just had to have these shoes. I struck out on retail and paid double of that in the secondary market.

I paid $500 for them. I'm never paying that much for shoes ever again.

Where to Buy Exclusive Shoes

Hello everyone,

You all know where to purchase shoes. You can walk into your local mall, and stroll into Champs or Foot Locker. The shoes that are available there are general releases, and pretty easy to find anywhere. That's why all of those shoe stores are similar, plus they're owned by the same company.

There's been times where I've wanted some Jordan shoes or Yeezys and it's hard to get them. Luckily, with technology we have a solution. There are a couple selling apps, and even eBay, but some shoes are very hard to legit check. The solutions that we have are StockX and GOAT. Both companies act as the middleman between you and the buyer of the shoes. Both apps have comparable pricing for shoes, which can be sold by anyone.

On StockX, anyone can sell their shoes, but they must be dead-stock. That means never worn. On GOAT, you can sell used shoes as well. I've had great experiences with both and highly recommend them if you're trying to purchase some sought after Jordans. From others experiences online, GOAT is more preferred because StockX has let a few fakes get through, and they're less stingy on their standards.

If you're looking at purchasing some new kicks, like maybe the Air Jordan 1 "Bred Toes" coming up, you'll know where you can buy them if you strike out at a retail store.

Intro

Hey, what's up everyone?! My name is Jagdev and you guys are going to be kicking it with me. Literally, since my blog is going to be about sneakers. I got into sneakers late 2016, and have been buying/selling/trading shoes since. You can always expect to see some type of heat on my feet in class.

My goals for this blog are to show you guys what I think are nice sneakers, and where to buy them if you're interested. Hopefully I can convince a couple of you to become sneaker-heads, but if not, then more shoes for me!
